Job Description;
The Warehouse and Materials Manager shall ensure that all equipment, supplies and materials are properly stored. This position also entails routine inspection and maintenance of company tools, equipment and vehicles to ensure all items are kept in safe and proper working order. The Warehouse and Materials Manager shall ensure all damaged equipment is segregated and clearly marked “Do Not Use, Out of Service”. As well the Warehouse and Materials Manager shall ensure all shipments are inspected for damage and shall ensure materials are received in good condition prior to entry into project stock.
Duties and Responsibilities;
The Warehouse and Materials Manager is responsible for ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored and maintained as per manufacturer’s instructions, inspection of incoming shipments, and the coordination of transport and delivery of project supplies, materials and equipment, the repair, when feasible of tools and equipment or the acquisition of repair services which cannot be accomplished in house.
Experience Required;
The Warehouse and Materials Manager shall be familiar with the various materials used in marine decking, insulation and painting and their proper storage, have current forklift operators training, valid Driver’s License, good driving record.
